Gideon, Cooper, and Essary, PLC is pleased to announce that Blake Carter became a member of the firm on January 1, 2019. Mr. Carter is a 2011 graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School, and is a 2008 graduate of Vanderbilt University. He clerked with the firm beginning in the summer of 2009, and started as a full time associate in September 2011. Like other members of the firm, Mr. Carter’s practice focuses on defense of physicians, hospitals, and other health care providers in health care liability and other types of personal injury actions. He has represented clients in multiple trials, and has also briefed and argued appellate court matters.
